The group includes companion flanges and gears that take up the power from the clutch, along with O-rings, sleeves, gaskets, gasket sets, spacer washers and plugs that seal and position inside the housing. The companion flange is a recurring inspection point during a rebuild – wear here causes jerky power transfer and noise. When taking it apart, it is also wise to replace the O-rings and gaskets in one go with a complete gasket set, since old seals rarely hold after disassembly.
The parts are for the four-cylinder 240 series with the manual M47 gearbox. Always check the gearbox markings and version against the variant you are rebuilding.
