Volumeter Volvo 240 (B19/B21/B23) (1979-)
Uneven idle, jerky gas response or poor cold starting can point to wear in the mass air flow sensor and its seals on fuel-injected B19, B21 and B23. Over the years the rubber dries out and small leaks cause incorrect air/fuel metering – which is why O-Rings and copper washers are a common check point when the system is taken apart.
