The group includes gas springs, hinges, gaskets and links together with screw, washer, lock washer and flange nut for the mounting. When restoring a stiff or sagging hatch, it is often the gas springs and the play in the hinges that you check first – if you replace the springs in pairs the hatch hangs evenly and does not press at an angle against the catch. The parts apply to the 245/265 estate models with chassis from 1975 and model years up to and including 1979.
