Reducing valve "J" type for Volvo Amazon, Amazon Kombi 1968-70
264 kr
Slipping engagement, oil leaking at the rear seal, or an overdrive that refuses to engage when the oil is warm are among the classic symptoms of a worn J-type behind the B20 engine in the 1800. The hydraulics are sensitive to dirt and worn sealing surfaces, and during a rebuild it is often the small parts that decide whether the unit engages cleanly again.

The group includes O-rings and gaskets for sealing the hydraulic circuit, bearings and gears for the internal mechanical work, plus balls, plugs, lock rings and spring washers belonging to the valve housing and solenoid side. When going through a J-type it is typical to check the seals against power leakage, the bearing play, and that the ball valves close against their seats before the oil pressure builds up.
The parts are gathered for the J-type version fitted behind the B20 in the 1800 series from model year 1969 onward.
