Clutch kit B30, without bearings
164
A stiff clutch, an uneven release point or a pedal rod with play is often caused by worn bushings, a tired return spring or loosely seated clevis pins in the linkage. This category gathers the small parts that hold the controls between pedal and clutch fork in place on the M400 and M410 gearboxes.

The group includes screws and nuts for mountings, return springs that bring the pedal back, clamps and hose in the fluid line, a strainer, plus bushings and clevis pins for the linkage joints. During a rebuild the bushings and clevis pins are typical inspection points – play there gives a spongy pedal feel and imprecise disengagement. Replaced together with the return spring, the pedal regains its correct rest and release position.
The parts fit the B18 and B20 cars in the 140 Series and the six-cylinder 164 with M400/M410, so check the gearbox and version against your car before ordering.
