The group includes complete clutch kits, release bearings, clutch cable, rubber pad and bushings, plus screws, washers and nuts for the mounting. During a rebuild it's worth replacing the release bearing at the same time as the driven plate and pressure plate – the bearing is a typical wear point and a separate replacement means you have to remove the gearbox once more. A worn rubber pad and a stiff clutch cable also produce a spongy pedal feel and should be checked at the same time.
