Clutch Volvo 140 (B18/B20) (1967-72)

A pedal that bites high, slipping under load or a squealing release bearing are classic signs that the clutch in a 140 Series with B18 or B20 is starting to wear out. This category gathers the parts needed for that type of job on the 1967-72 model years.

The group includes complete clutch kits, separate release bearings, clutch cable and rubber pad, together with bushings plus screw, nut and washer for the installation. During a clutch overhaul the driven plate, pressure plate and release bearing are the typical wear points – if you're replacing them anyway while the box is out, it pays to check the cable and pedal bushings at the same time, since a stiff pedal action is often down to these rather than the clutch itself.

Since the B18 was phased out in favor of the B20 from 1968, it's important to start from the engine variant when selecting parts.
