On the 140/164 everything from a single Stromberg CD 175 to twin carburettors was fitted, so the thickness of the spacer washer and the dimensions of the connectors can differ between versions – check against your existing setup before fitting. Fresh washers and nuts let the carburetor be tightened evenly without false air, and an intact fuel hose reduces the risk of leakage when the engine is hot.
