Rough idle, poor cold starting or a dropping idle speed often come down to dried-out diaphragms, leaking O-rings and worn shaft bushings in the Stromberg CD 175 carburetor. This simple Stromberg carburetor is fitted to the Volvo 140 with the B20A motor (2.0 litre, four-cylinder OHV) from 1968 onwards, and responds well to a thorough overhaul with the right wear parts.

The group includes sealing O-rings and gaskets, springs, bushings plus screw, nut, washer and lock washer for fitting. The parts are used during rebuilds, resealing and recurring adjustment of idle and mixture. A common check point is the throttle shaft bushings – play here draws in false air and makes the setting unstable, no matter how carefully you follow the exploded view.
All parts are intended for the CD 175 version on the B20A and do not belong with the twin-carburetor versions B18B/B20B.
