The group includes cylinder head gaskets, valve covers (also in chromed finish), complete valve cover sets, stud and screw, freeze plug and oil cap. When replacing a gasket it is worth checking the flatness of the valve cover and replacing the valve cover set at the same time – old, hardened gaskets and worn screws are often the reason oil creeps out along the edge of the cover. The freeze plugs in the cylinder head are a classic weak point on older blocks and should be inspected while the head is off anyway.
