Head Gasket Set Volvo B20A, B20B, B20D – up to 1972

Head gasket set for Volvo B20A, B20B and B20D engines up to 1972. The kit contains the essential gaskets and seals required when removing or rebuilding the cylinder head.

The cylinder head gasket is 2 mm thick. The cylinder head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, valve cover gasket and valve stem seals are manufactured by Dana Glaser in Spain. The remaining gaskets and O-rings are manufactured by CVR in Sweden. All components are then assembled and packed by CVR in Hökerum, outside Ulricehamn, in a practical blue box specially designed for these gasket sets.

Installation Tips

Tighten the cylinder head bolts in three stages:

• Stage 1: 30 Nm

• Stage 2: 60 Nm

• Stage 3: 90–95 Nm

After the engine has reached operating temperature and cooled down completely, retighten the cylinder head bolts to 90–95 Nm.
