Pedal shaft for Volvo PV, Duett
92 kr
A slack clutch pedal, squeaking in the pedal box and a pedal shaft worn loose are classic symptoms of worn linkage. On the 445 with a B4B or B16 motor the mechanical transfer from pedal to release happens via a pedal shaft with its associated bearing and seal surfaces, and even a couple of tenths of a millimeter of play is felt as a spongy pedal feel.

This group includes the pedal shaft, grommet and the seals that keep lubricant in and dirt out, as well as washers, nut, screw, cotter pin and lock ring that lock the pivot points in place. When restoring, it is worth replacing the cotter pin and lock ring in one go – these small locking elements are often corroded and cost almost nothing compared to the risk of a joint coming loose. The parts are intended for 445 chassis up to 1961.
