Pedal shaft for Volvo PV, Duett
92 kr
A stiff clutch pedal, binding release action or play that keeps you from fully disengaging the clutch – the fault often sits in the mechanical linkage between pedal and release fork, not in the driven plate itself. On the 544 and P210 with B18 the wear tends to creep into bushings and joints, and then the pedal feel turns spongy long before the clutch disc is worn out.

This group covers parts for the entire mechanical linkage: bushings and anchorages that take up the play at the pedal and countershaft, thrust link and countershaft that transfer the movement, an adjusting nut for setting pedal play and clearance, plus seal, grommet and washer that keep the linkage clean and in place. A typical check point during a rebuild is precisely the bushings in the countershaft – replace them at the same time as the adjusting nut is reset and you get back a firm pedal and the correct clearance.
