Linkage Volvo PV 444 (B4B/B16) (-1961)

Play in the clutch pedal, a clutch that engages too high or slips is often not the driven plate itself – it lies in the mechanical linkage. On the 444 with B4B or B16 up to 1961, wear migrates to the bushings, thrust link and adjusting nut, and then the pedal feel turns spongy and disengagement uneven.

This group includes parts for the entire mechanical operation: bushings and washers that take up play in the linkage, thrust link and adjusting nut for setting the correct pedal play, plus nuts, screw, seal and grommet that keep the mounting points dry and steady. During a rebuild, the bushings and the adjusting nut are typical check points – if they are worn, you cannot get a clean grip no matter how fresh the driven plate is.

The parts follow the 444's design with mechanical clutch and the M gearbox from the period, so always check against your car's model year and chassis number.
