Steering Idler arm Volvo 544/210 (B18)
Play in the steering, a steering wheel that wanders and uneven tire wear can point to a worn idler arm and its bushings – a common check point on the 544 and 210 with the B18 engine. The parts in this group sit on the steering side opposite the pitman arm and hold the center link at the right height, so the entire tie rod assembly works cleanly.

When rebuilding, it is worth checking the bushings for play and making sure the arm's bearing is secure without binding.
