Headlamps Volvo PV/Duett (6 Volt)
Weak or yellowed low beam on an early 544 often comes down to a corroded reflector and poor ground just as much as the bulb itself. On cars with the original 6-volt system – the one used from the start of production in 1947 until the switch to 12 volts in 1961 – the voltage margin is small, so loose grommets and rusty bulb holders show up immediately in the beam.
