Brake Pipe Kit Volvo Duett 445 1953–early 1958
99 kr
Rusty brake pipes and cracked hoses are classic wear points on a 445, and on the early cars the problem is especially serious: they ran with a single-circuit master brake cylinder, where a single leak means all braking pressure is lost. That's why tight lines and sound hoses are not cosmetic but a safety matter in every restoration.

This group includes brake pipes and brake hoses for the front and rear axle, clamps and a bracket that hold the pipes in place, plus the hose and adapter cap around the master brake cylinder. There's also a brake light switch and grease for assembly. When going through the line system, typical check points are pipe ends that have rusted at the clamps, hoses that have swollen internally and a sluggish brake light switch. These parts gather what's needed to replace the entire run from cylinder to wheel on a 445 up to early 1958.
