Rust damage in the floor panel, sill boxes and frame parts is the first thing to show up when a 544 or 445 is taken apart – over decades moisture has collected in the sill plates and around the mountings. The floor section is load-bearing, so here the chassis and model determine which panels fit: 444/544 has its own floor sections and sill plates, while 445/210 has its own frame, spare wheel container and body anchorage matching the engine options B4B/B16/B18. The selection covers panel work for both weld repair and a complete floor restoration.
