The group includes side plating and sill plate to replace affected areas, a mounting kit and grommet kit for fastening, plus piping and stone-chip rubber that restore seals and protect exposed edges. For the welding work itself there is weld primer and auto body sealer to prime and fill before painting.
A typical inspection point is the sill and the lower edge of the fenders, where moisture and dirt collect and rust starts from the inside. Here it pays to prime the exposed metal with weld primer right after the new section is fitted, so the fastening surfaces are protected before sealer and paint are applied.
