Fuel hose from pump to carburetor for Volvo B14A, B16B
150 kr
A worn diaphragm, leaking gasket or weak delivery when the engine is hot are classic symptoms of a tired mechanical fuel pump on the B16. The pump is mechanically driven against the engine block, and when the diaphragm hardens or the valves start to pass through, you get fuel starvation, rough idling and a dead stop on uphill grades.

This group includes complete fuel pumps, repair kits with diaphragm and valves, plus gaskets and spacer washers that control the pump's lift height against the camshaft. You will also find fuel hose, angle nipples, screws and spring washers for a tight, vibration-proof mounting.
When rebuilding, it is worth checking the sealing surface against the block, replacing the gasket and spacer washer at the same time, and inspecting the hoses – a dry-cracked fuel hose is a common cause of air leaks and cold-start trouble. A complete repair kit is often a cheaper alternative than a new pump if the casting is sound.
