Rust attack at the hood's front edge, loose hinges and cracked rubber bottoms are common on the early 122 cars with the B16 engine. When the front end is restored and the hood is adjusted, it's often the small details that determine the result – mounts that have rusted solid, spring washers that have lost their tension and grommets that have hardened and started to let moisture through.

The group includes fastening parts such as screw, nut and spring washer, rubber bottom and grommet that cushion and seal, plus a lettering set for the emblem and a mounting kit that gathers the small brackets. There is also weld primer here for rust-proofing sheet metal seams before painting.
A classic checkpoint during reassembly is the rubber stop against the hood's front edge – dry and collapsed bottoms cause a rattling hood and can scuff the paintwork over time. Replace them at the same time as the grommets while the front end is taken apart anyway.
