A leaking cylinder head gasket, traces of oil in the coolant, or a weeping sealing surface after many miles are classic reasons to go into the B23's cylinder head. The 2.3-litre four-cylinder OHC engine sits in the 240 series, and during a cylinder head rebuild it's the seals and the fastening that determine the result.
