On the sedan models the sill, wheel housing and rear container work together as a load-bearing section, so small holes quickly turn into rusted-through mounts and weak points when the car has to pass inspection.

This group includes sheet metal parts and mounting hardware for the side section specifically: tie plate, wheel housing, centre pillar and spare wheel container for the welding job, plus drip channel, mud flap rod, anchorage and nuts that belong to the mounting. During a side renovation the tie plate and lower wheel housing edge are typical checkpoints – that's where moisture and dirt collect and eat their way through from the inside.
Since the 244 and 264 share a body, most of the parts fit both models, but always check against the left/right side and model year before you cut.
