The group includes side windows and vent windows, rubber seals and trim moldings, plus smaller side plating and retainers that secure the glass and molding. For installation there is sealer and auto body sealer that makes the joint watertight again.
A common check point during installation is to lift the molding and inspect the sheet metal underneath – if the molding sits correctly and seals the window channel dry, you avoid recurring fogging and moisture damage. If you are replacing glass, it is also a good time to check that the retainers are firmly seated and not loose.
