The group includes trim moldings, junctions that join the molding sections together, fasteners and bolt kits for mounting, plus nuts and sealant that keep moisture away at the mounting points. During installation, new fasteners and sealing are typical check points – old fasteners lose their tension and let the molding vibrate, while dry sealant lets water in. Since the 1800 was built on the same body from the Jensen era to the late ES years, the moldings fit broadly across 1961-72, but always check the section length and fastener pattern against the car.
