Lowering kit for Volvo PV 1947–1966
251 kr
A bouncy front end, clunking over bumps and a car that dives under braking can point to tired telescopic shock absorbers and worn-out coil springs. The 544 and 445 were built with independent front suspension using coil springs and telescopic Delco shock absorbers, and after decades the rubber bushings and mounts are often as worn as the shock absorber itself.

This group includes shock absorbers, front springs and lowering springs as well as complete lowering kits, together with bushings, bearing bolts, nuts and washers for the mountings. When you replace the shock absorber it is worth checking the bushings and mounting bolts at the same time – new rubber keeps the new shock absorber firmly in place with no play. Check the model year and version against your own car, since the mountings can differ across the 544/445 range.
