Lead-through kit Torpedo for Volvo PV, Duett, B16

A glitchy ignition, hot connections at the battery or a ground point that has corroded – the fault often lies in a tired cable terminal rather than in the component it feeds. On the 544 and 445 this becomes especially clear at the 6V-to-12V switch in 1961, where heavier charging currents demand clean, well-sized connections and intact grommets through the sheet metal.

This group includes cable terminals and cable lugs for both battery and ignition cable, plus clamps, rubber clamps and washers that hold the routing in place. There are also grommets and complete grommet kits that seal where the wiring passes plate edges, so that chafing and moisture do not wear through the insulation. Screws are included to fasten ground and mounting points securely.
During restoration, ground points and battery terminals are typical inspection points: oxidized surfaces cause voltage drops that show up as weak starting and flickering lights.
