Glowing or corroded fuse holders and brittle porcelain fuses are classic fault sources in the early 544/445 cars – a poor contact point readily causes voltage drops, dead lamps or intermittent breaks that are hard to trace. On cars with the B4B/B16, the electrical system originally ran 6 volts until the changeover to 12 volts in 1961, which makes it important to check that the fusebox and fuse ratings match the car's specification.

This group gathers parts for the fuse center: complete fuseboxes, loose porcelain fuses in several amperage ratings (including 25A) and decals that label the circuits. During restoration, loose spring contacts, oxidized contact surfaces and unclear labeling are typical checkpoints before new fuses are fitted.
