The group includes fasteners and lock sleeves that hold the trim edges in place, elastic bands and springs for seat comfort and suspension in the cushion, seat foam for building up the seat, rubber bottom and headrest, plus complete mounting kits. During a re-trim, elastic bands and springs are typical check points – a worn-out elastic band gives a sunken cushion even with new trim, and missing lock sleeves mean the edge is not tensioned properly. Replacing these parts at the same time as the fabric saves both time and a later re-mounting job.
