Keep in mind that the 122 switched from 6 to 12 volts in August 1961 – check the system voltage before buying components such as bulb sockets and accessories. A recurring weak point is the fuse holder: fuses oxidize and contacts come loose, so cleaned connections and new cable terminals are often what restore reliable power.
