Note that in 1988 Volvo switched the front from a one-piece hub/disc to a two-piece solution up front – this affects which pads and spring pins fit, so check the version before ordering. Stiff or leaking slide sleeves often cause uneven pad wear and should be looked over while you have the caliper off anyway.
