On this version, the wheel hub, bearing and brake disc are combined into one unit. Volvo later replaced this type with a design where the wheel hub and brake disc are separate parts. It is therefore important to check which version is fitted to the car before ordering.

Important Information

On this version, the wheel hub and brake disc are combined into one unit. From around 1988, a later version can also be found where the hub and brake disc are separate parts.

Always check which version is fitted to the vehicle before ordering.

Brake discs must always be replaced in pairs on the same axle. Replacing both brake discs ensures even and safe braking performance.

Installation

Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions when installing the brake discs.

• Contact surfaces must be completely clean and free from grease.
• Brake calipers and pads must move freely.
• Check that the brake system and suspension do not have excessive wear.
•
