Inlet pipe Volvo 740 (B19ET)
Hard, shrunken gaskets and rusted-in studs are the classic wear points around the inlet manifold on a 740 with the B19ET. When the seal lets go, the engine draws false air, which shows up as a rough idle and cold-start trouble – so it pays to replace the gasket and sealing parts while the manifold is off anyway.
