When replacing them it is worth checking that the new pad has the correct height and mounting – the B280 is a heavier V6 than the four-cylinders in the series, so the parts are dimensioned for that. It is a good idea to replace the lock nuts and members at the same time, since tightened and corroded threads rarely survive a removal without losing preload.
