Clutch pedal
83 kr
A heavy clutch pedal, a stretched cable or noise when you press are classic signs of worn clutch linkage on the four-cylinder 240 and the diesel versions. Gathered here are the parts that transfer the pedal motion out to the gearbox on a mechanically operated clutch – from the pedal assembly to the release.

The group includes the clutch cable, release bearing, return springs, bushings and rubber blocks, along with screws, nuts and washers for the mountings. With this type of job the release bearing is a common check point: a grinding or screeching bearing is clearly heard with the pedal pressed down and should be replaced together with a clutch change. A stiff pedal is often due to an aged cable or dry bushings in the pedal assembly, while a sluggish return spring keeps the pedal from springing back fully.
The parts are gathered for the B21, B23, B230 and the diesel engine in the 240 with a mechanical clutch.
