This category gathers the wear parts in the valve train for the B20A, B20B and B20D. The group includes camshaft kits and timing gear sets, intake and exhaust valves, valve guides, washers, pushrods and thrust flange. During a cylinder head overhaul it's common to check the play in the valve guides and the valves' sealing surface against the seat – if an exhaust valve leaks, compression drops and the engine runs roughly. If the camshaft is replaced, it pays to inspect the timing gear and thrust flange at the same time so axial play is kept in check.
