A washer pump that whirs without spraying water, clogged nozzles or cracks in the hose are classic winter headaches on the 240/260. Which parts fit is governed by model year and version – the range is therefore split so the correct variant for the 245/265 before and after 1981 can be told apart, as can the different headlight washers (round, rectangular, square and Seal Beam) fitted to the series over the years.
