Cracked fasteners, a loose trim molding, or a rear bumper hanging crooked are classic signs of tired mountings on the 240/260 from 1981 onwards. As the soft plastic bushings and guide washers age, the bumper starts to rattle, and rust readily attacks the anchorages and nuts behind it.

This group includes the parts that hold the entire rear section in place and sealed: fasteners and guide washers that lock the bumper to the body, trim molding, anchorages, seals, plus hexagon screw, washer and nut for the mounting itself. When restoring, it's worth replacing the fasteners and seal at the same time – new plastic parts prevent both rattling and moisture ingress that would otherwise start rust in the rear section.
Since the design changed through the model years, it pays to check the parts against your car's build year before fitting.
