Volvo 1800 Rear axle
Growling wheel bearings at high speed or an oil drip behind the pinion flange are classic signs of a worn rear axle. On the 1800 it's mainly the model year that determines which parts fit – the heavier-duty M30 rear axle arrived from model year 1966 (chassis #16500), and the wheel bearings differ between early and late cars.
