Grommets Volvo 1800
Brittle, shrunken rubber grommets sooner or later let in moisture and dirt where wiring, cables and lines pass through the body and sheet metal – a common check point when restoring a P1800, 1800S, 1800E or 1800ES. When the original rubber has hardened and cracked, water often starts to leak into the cabin or trunk, which in turn can cause rust around the grommet.
