Volvo 1800 Gas throttle linkage

Sluggish throttle response, play in the linkage, or an accelerator pedal that doesn't return fully are classic wear symptoms on the 1800 series, and the right parts are determined by model and chassis number. On the carbureted B18B and B20B engines the linkage and joints run to the carburetors, while the fuel-injected B20E cars have a different routing to the throttle body – which is why the control is split by version and series.
