For many years, replacement fuel tanks for the Volvo 142, 144, 145 and 164 models from 1967–1973 have been difficult to find. Classic Volvo Restoration (CVR) can now offer a newly manufactured fuel tank designed to replace worn or rusty fuel tanks and fit all models within this year range.

NOTE! If the fuel tank is supplied with accessories, they may be located under or between one of the box flaps. Check all packaging material carefully before discarding it.

Important information

This fuel tank uses the larger fuel sender fitted to:

• 1970 fuel-injected models
• All 1971–1973 models

• Gasket: 944219

Before installation, ensure the correct fuel sender is used for your vehicle. For best results, inspect all connections, hoses and seals and replace them if necessary when installing the tank.
