Rubber strip set, front and rear doors, for Volvo 144, 145, 164, 244
295 kr
Loose door handles, sticking window regulators and lock buttons that sit loosely are among the most common signs of wear on the rear doors of the 144 (four-door) and 145 (estate). When the regulator channel is stiff or the window hangs crooked, it is often the channels, springs and guides that need replacing rather than the whole mechanism.

The group includes door handles, regulator channels, lock buttons with lock washers, springs as well as screw, washer and gasket for mounting and sealing. The parts apply to the rear doors of the 144 and 145 for model years 1967-73, which is worth checking against the car since the instrument panel and certain details changed on the 140 series during the period.
A typical checkpoint during a restoration is the door seal gasket and the lock button spring – dry gaskets cause draughts and moisture, while a weak spring means the lock does not hold. It is a good idea to replace washers and screw at the same time so the mounting sits without tension.
