The group also includes screws, nuts and washers in the correct dimensions so that joints and hangers can be tightened without re-threading old rusty parts.
A wise checkpoint during installation is to replace the gaskets and anchorage clamps at the same time as the pipes – new pipes against tired rubber hangers will still produce vibration and shorten service life. Also check that the joints align correctly against the rear axle before you tighten everything.
