Knocking noises in corners and a bouncy rear end are common symptoms of an aged multi-link rear axle, and worn link bushings should then be a first checkpoint. In the 1995 960 revision, the multi-link design was supplemented with a transverse composite leaf spring, which means the mounting and attachment parts differ from the earlier version – check the model year before ordering.
