Rough idling, sluggish cold starts or misfires under load can point to the ignition. On the 940/960, worn spark plugs, cracked spark plug wires and a tired distributor are common checkpoints once the symptoms start to show, while a weak impulse sensor can cause faults that come and go. The subsystem is divided so you can work systematically through the spark path from coil to plug.
