Interior light Volvo 740/760 (-1987)

A dead dome light, an interior lamp that flickers when the door is shut, or a warning lamp that no longer lights up in the instrument panel are common age-related faults on the early 740/760 cars. Often it comes down to burnt-out bulbs or loose connections in the contacts and door switches rather than the whole fixture, so it's a reasonable checkpoint before anything is replaced.
