Air filter Volvo 740 (B19ET)

The group includes the air filter, the hose between the air cleaner and intake, retainer, clamp, spring nut and stud. When the filter element is replaced it is common to also inspect the hose for cracks and to make sure the clamp seats tightly, so that false air does not slip past the metering point. The spring nut and stud belong to the mounting and are usually checked at the same time, since worn mounting parts easily cause vibrations and leaky joints. Always verify the fit against the B19ET before replacement, as the air cleaner design differs between engine variants in the 700 series.
