Fuses/Fuse boxes Volvo 240/260 (1979-87)

Faulty lighting, dead circuits or a fuse that works loose in its holder are classic signs of corrosion and play in the fusebox on a 240/260. Since the whole series runs a 12V electrical system, it is often the contact surfaces and spring tension in the holder – not the fuse itself – that should be checked first when a circuit drops out.
