Important information
Please note that the thread for the filter plug in the tank is slightly tapered. As a result, the filter plug cannot be tightened all the way to the bottom and should instead be tightened approximately 3–3.5 turns. This applies to both the original plug from 1972–1973 tanks and the supplied plug. This is a normal characteristic of the tank design and does not affect its function.
